CLAUDIA TREMPS VISITS THE INSTITUT CATALÀ DEL PEU IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT A 3D BIOMECHANICAL STUDY.

The sportswoman from Ogassa (Ripollés) visited our clinic in order to carry out a complete 3D Biomechanical study with the aim of improving her race sporting gesture just before of one of the most important trials of her calendar, an ultra-marathon in Madeira of a route of 115 Km with a high slope.Claudia, with 26 years old, keeps in her rucksack of ultras some achievements known by her beauty, but also for its harshness like it can be UTMB or the  Gran Canary ultra, where she won the third position on the podium.According to what she says, she began in 2014 running not very important races. Nowadays, she keeps in her list of achievements some victories like trans Gran Canary: 2^nd female, La Moixina: 1^st female, Menorca small trail south coast: 1^st female, 100 trail Andorra Pyrenees: 1^st female and UTMB 170 Km: 9^th female, among others.We studied her case in our private hospital thoroughly and we took care of every analysis in order that she can work with her weak points, strengthening the musculature, as well as to prevent sporting lesions as a consequence of her biomechanics on race.Therefore, we carried out a complete study in the level of podiatry and shoes, different strength tests in order to find out possible assymetries which suppose a risk of lesion and we assessed functional exercises to state a possible action plan next to its technical staff.Undoubtedly, she is a great athlete and person, and we will be pleased to have her once again in our installations.
